WHAT WE DO
AUT Millennium hosts Auckland schools each year participating in the Nestlé for Healthier Kids programme.
During these fun-filled days, up to 60 children are given the opportunity to learn how to be healthy by participating in activities such as water safety, kayaking, snorkelling, rock climbing, team building and athletics. The children also learn how to create healthy lunches with help from Nestlé New Zealand Ltd.
The days are enjoyed not only by AUT Millennium and Nestlé staff but also by the students. Here is some feedback from the children who have participated in previous Nestlé for Healthier Kids days:
“[It] was a great experience for me and the others. We really enjoyed every moment. It was absolutely amazing to be there.”
