AUT Millennium is a charitable trust dedicated to helping New Zealanders be the best they can be. From teaching learner swimmers to supporting gym-goers and elite athletes, we are a hub for health, wellness, and community connection.

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Schools Programme Instructor to join our team in delivering our popular aquatics and land-based education programmes to local schools and community groups.

About the Role

As a Schools Programme Instructor, you’ll deliver high-quality water safety and boating education, as well as engaging land-based Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) activities. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring young people across our region gain essential life skills and confidence in and around the water. Working alongside a passionate and supportive team, you’ll help create a fun, safe and inspiring environment for students of all ages. This is a casual role with shifts available during the school term only, Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 2:30pm. Full training will be provided.

A current First Aid certificate is preferred but not required as training will be provided.
