Private Swim Lessons
- Ages: Suitable for those aged 9+
We offer private coaching for those keen to further develop their confidence, technique or fitness.
Under the guidance of our Private Swim Coach Jacob Garrod, you can work on your specific swimming goals in dedicated pool space. Whether you want to refine your stroke, build aerobic capacity or improve your overall swimming competency, Jacob can tailor your session to help you be the best swimmer you can be.
WHO ARE PRIVATE LESSONS FOR?
Private coaching is suitable for anyone who is confident in the water and has a swimming-related goal. Sessions can be structured for those with basic swimming competency right through to those training for an event or series. Keep in mind that we do offer Adult Learn to Swim sessions through our Swim School for those who aren’t yet confident in the water.
Please note: Due to demand, Jacob is currently only available for private lessons Monday-Friday between 9am and 2pm.
Lessons are taught from poolside – Jacob will not be in the water.
For those familiar with AUT Millennium Swim School levels, private lessons are suitable for those at Breather level or above.
Cost
As sessions are catered to your individual needs, prices of private lessons may vary. Please contact Jacob with details of your coaching needs.
Please Bring along
Well-fitted swimwear, swim cap, goggles, and a towel. You can also bring along any equipment you own (kickboard, fins etc) – although this is not essential.
We encourage our swimmers to bring warm clothes to change into after their swim. Please ensure that swimmers do not wear rash shirts.
