COACH DEVELOPMENT SERIES LEVEL ONE

This first session is perfect for student coaches and those new to coaching and focuses on who you are, who you coach, why you coach, and how to create a positive coaching environment.
We’ll also look at the impact of ages and stages – how your athletes’ developmental needs influence the way you communicate, build relationships, and design sessions.
It’s all about building a practical coaching checklist to help you coach with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

The first Level 2 Coach Development Series session is perfect for coaches who have completed our level 1 programme and/or are coaching at a noice level.
We will unpack how athletes develop skill most effectively through purposeful, game-representative practice guided by the constraints-led approach, as conceptualized by Karl Newell.
In this framework, performance emerges from the dynamic interaction of individual, task, and environmental constraints.
