Millennium Pool - Check-in Process for Members
When visiting the Millennium Pool, please check in prior to your swim and collect a band from Main Reception. This helps us to track numbers and ensures that only All Access and Aquatic Members are using the pool.

Which reception do I need to check-in at and how do I scan in?
- Please check-in at Main Reception on the Ground Floor, closest to the Millennium Pool.
- If you have the AUT Millennium app, use the scanners at the reception desk to check in.
- If you have a membership tag, give your name to our friendly Customer Care Team, and they will sign you in (scanners for membership tags coming soon!)
- Once you have checked in, please collect a band from the reception team to have with you during your swim.
Why do we need to check-in before using the pool?
- Checking-in helps us track pool usage and ensures that only members are using the pool.
- As a charitable trust, tracking numbers helps us secure funding to maintain and improve the pools.
Why do we need to collect a band to swim in the Millennium pool?
- Only All Access and Aquatics members can swim in the Millennium Pool.
- The band system ensures that the pool is used exclusively by members, maintaining a great experience for those who belong.
Why do I need to wear a band while swimming or keep it near my gear?
- The band allows lifeguards to easily identify members without interrupting their swim.
- It also helps us educate non-members about alternative swimming options at the National Aquatic Centre and promote memberships.
Is the membership band reusable?
No – you will need to collect a new band at reception each time you swim at the Millennium Pool.
What if I forget to check-in?
If you forget to check-in on entry you will be asked by our friendly Lifeguard Team to collect a wristband from reception.
