From my own experiences I understand just how much of a benefit having someone beside you along your life long commitment to your health and training is. That someone needs to carry the personality and values in someone who you can trust with not just your physical well being but also your mental and emotional and who you can relate with and build a meaningful and positive relationship in and out of training. These are the personality traits and values that a good personal trainer will carry, personality traits and values that I possess and constantly work to show my clients. Alongside Personal Training I am a Qualified Group Fitness Instructor and Strength and Conditioning Coach with a Bachelor degree in Sport and Recreation Majoring in Sport and Exercise Science and notably a finalist nomination in the 2021/2022 Exercise New Zealand Awards for Up and Coming Personal Trainer. The awards demonstrated to top exercise professionals and co-operations my continuous learning and improvement and how it benefits my clients and the industry. These have allowed me to safely and effectively work with a wide variety of clientele. As a Strength and Conditioning coach I have and continue to work with youth and senior New Zealand representative athletes in Swimming, Water polo, Sailing, Rugby, Para Triathlon and professional dancers to name a few. My background as an athlete myself comes from six years of training and competing in Olympic weightlifting at a national level, so I know what it takes to get the best results for your chosen sport .As a Personal Trainer I have and continue to train and work with a wide variety of clients. These include youth/teenagers as young as eight years old with and without physical and neurological differences, e.g., Autism, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy & Visual impairments. I also work with any and everyone who is just looking to get stronger, develop healthier habits and become more confident in the gym.

As someone who has Dyspraxia, which is a neurological learning disorder alongside my passion for training people, I am passionate about spreading awareness for neurological and physical conditions. I have partnered with SPELD New Zealand and other organizations to provide webinars and in person events for families around the country and continue to communicate with families one on one spreading awareness for the benefits of physical activity for someone .

I want you to learn why certain training methods work for you and give you the education and confidence to be able to apply them to your personal goals, no matter what they are.

I am immensely passionate about healthy eating and fitness, which I believe are the two key elements to improving one’s quality of life, also as a top current competitive athlete in bodybuilding I understand how both are just as important. With these characteristics, I know what it takes to work very hard and to be consistent to achieve any goals, whether its health and fitness related, or other aspects of life therefore I wish to align these values with my clients to help them become the best version of themselves, and inevitably their quality of life.

“Hi, I’m Lucy”.

I’m a passionate PT and mum to 4 grown-up kids. 

I’ve been in the fitness industry for too many years to mention, don’t want to give away my age!  

I’m originally from the UK, where I first started as a gym instructor before joining the Police. 

Fast forward 22 years, and I left the Police to work on my PT business full time, and I haven’t looked back since. 

My passion is working with women, helping them best the best version of themselves. 

Having had my own children and dealing with the many things that can arise around birth and being a mum, I know the importance of exercise and its positive effect on our well-being, not just physically but mentally too.  

As a Police officer for many years, I’ve developed great listening skills. I will listen and not judge, advise and help you on your journey to the best version of yourself. 

Over the years, I have studied and gained a number of fitness-related qualifications – however, my main focus is mostly on women’s health. I used the time during the recent lockdowns to gain my pre and a postnatal coaching certificate. I’m also a pelvic floor safe trainer and recently completed my Yoga flexibility coaching certificate.
