As a part of AUT Millennium’s commitment to sustainability, we will be installing 873 solar panels onto the roof of the AUT Millennium building and the Accommodation building. The introduction of solar power will reduce our electricity consumption, therefore reducing our environmental impact. Over the course of a year, we expect this initiative to reduce our carbon emissions by 41.2%, equating to a decrease of 34.9 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
Phase one of the Aquatic Legacy Project has now been completed. The National Aquatic Centre 50m pool has reopened! For more information on phase two of the Aquatic Legacy Project, please see here.
